Just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

So this is my current state...unable to walk, sit, stand (for more than a few minutes at a time). My back is reinjured and its no fun.
If you've never had this happen to you- its basically the whole control panel to your body getting shut down. Simple things like standing-standing in an upright position...very painful if not impossible. Sitting is just as bad-any pressure or stress on the discs in your spine is bad news. Even laying can be uncomfortable. So you just have to find the position that takes as much pressure off your back as possible and fight through it.
You still have to do light stretches if you possibly can. You still have to try to walk a bit if you can and you have to do things like ice, heat, soaks in the tub or electric stimulation or therapeutic ointments. Every day...and this can last days, weeks or longer depending on how bad it is. This is a bad one and Im on my 2nd week of it.
Today I see a chiro and hope for some relief. Fingers crossed.
Work is piling up and Im eager to resume life already.

Hello! I haven't blogged since last year. Even writing the word "blog" felt foreign and weird! I have actually been writing stuff on my Patreon account so if you've missed the updates you can sign up for free over there. The Age of Upgrade

BIG BATCH OF HAND PAINTED WAX FOR SAN FRANCISCO I wanted to do a blog about the upgrade I'm doing and why. Because I am an artist and not a business person I have been lax on so many things I shouldn't have been and caused myself a lot of headaches. This was a year of growing pains for my business and days before my birthday I decided my new age of 39 would be one of grand changes. For starters...I'm typing this on an old Android phone. It's the only equipment I have. My old Mac finally gave up the ghost and I can no longer do any graphic designing in Photoshop or even save files. This will need to be upgraded, I need a computer. Let's talk about vinyl though...I started doing the vinyl about 6 years ago and they were pretty basic novice attempts at painting on vinyl. After many experiments, failures and tons of practice... I have brought them into their own. They started as $30 discs and climbed as I got better. I marked everything DOWN to $50 this year...

The calm during the storm

Fist Pumps! Cool rainy weather has hit Dallas. Just in time for the opening of the State Fair of Texas and Oktoberfest...which I just happened to be at yesterday by happenstance. Oktoberfest that is, not the Fair. No, I did not have any bier. I did have a fun time walking around between biergartens and weiner dog races in the rain with good company though! I had to drop off my piece "FLOURISH" to a place in McKinney Tx called ORISONS who will be having a gallery walk in a few weeks. There were a lot of people down there for the festivities so they wanted the work to show off to all the traffic.
