Nothing much


Blogger changed its interface so I just wanted to write a quick blog to kind of check things out and see where everything is and what's new. Yesterday started off with Phase 2 of Metabolic Renewal workout and it was a butt kicking just like I had prophesied.
We did this evil thing called Sumo squats that came right after some other leg exercises that followed other leg exercises...ohhhh LEG DAY oof! I was actually wanting pushups... Crunches... Anything to break up more squats! My legs were jello afterward and walking more than 2 miles just wasnt going to happen. I ended up not doing ANYTHING for the rest of the day except getting my car tune up, oil changed and a coil replaced. 
I'm slowly starting the adulting phase of trying to get my car ready for inspection. It's got issues and everything costs money. I'm also starting the adulting phase of building my credit. I actually started this last year and got my credit from Poor to Fair with my first credit card. Now I've got more medical debt hanging around after I just cleared off the old debt. Grrr! Staying zen about it, it's life. All in all I've made a ton of progress in climbing out of the rubble and feel like I'm fixing all aspects of my life right now...health, financial, etc. I've come a long way. 
Ok new interface isn't too weird just takes some getting used to. Have a great new week everyone!

    You know, that's how it is, it's always something. Car messing up, a/c messing up, something to jack up the good credit, viruses, new kittens showing up in the yard when I'm already taking care of too many! Things always seem to end up working out though. I think I'd take those problems over leg day though! Ok maybe I'm exaggerating, but I HATE leg workouts!

  Hello! I haven't blogged since last year. Even writing the word "blog" felt foreign and weird! The Age of Upgrade

BIG BATCH OF HAND PAINTED WAX FOR SAN FRANCISCO I wanted to do a  blog about the upgrade I'm doing and why. Because I am an artist and not a business person I have been lax on so many things I shouldn't have been and caused myself a lot of headaches. This was a year of growing pains for my business and days before my birthday I decided my new age of 39 would be one of grand changes. For starters...I'm typing this on an old Android phone. It's the only equipment I have. My old Mac finally gave up the ghost and I can no longer do any graphic designing in Photoshop or even save files. This will need to be upgraded, I need a computer. Let's talk about vinyl though...I started doing the vinyl about 6 years ago and they were pretty basic novice attempts at painting on vinyl. After many experiments, failures and tons of practice... I have brought them into their own. They started as $30 discs and climbed as I got better. I marked everything DOWN to $50 this year...

The calm during the storm

Fist Pumps! Cool rainy weather has hit Dallas. Just in time for the opening of the State Fair of Texas and Oktoberfest...which I just happened to be at yesterday by happenstance. Oktoberfest that is, not the Fair. No, I did not have any bier. I did have a fun time walking around between biergartens and weiner dog races in the rain with good company though! I had to drop off my piece "FLOURISH" to a place in McKinney Tx called ORISONS who will be having a gallery walk in a few weeks. There were a lot of people down there for the festivities so they wanted the work to show off to all the traffic. It's been quite a week(end) and I just wanted to pop off a blog to say thanks to everyone who has been supporting by coming to the shows and making purchases and just high fiving me on facebook, etc. THANKS SO MUCH!
